Born in New Jersey, but a Rockland County, NY resident for over thirty years, I earned a BFA from Syracuse University and Masters Degree in Art Education from the College of New Rochelle. I studied watercolor with Carolyn Pedersen, NWS. I recently retired from teaching art in the Clarkstown School District for thirty-two years. Mywork has been exhibited in juried shows in NY and NJ and am an active and signature member of many art societies. Currently I am a member of the Piermont Arts Gallery, Piermont, NY. In my paintings I use traditional transparent watercolor, or mixed media such as acrylic, gouache, and collaged elements such as variously textured papers to cardboard, and dried beans. I am constantly experimenting and discovering exciting ways to present my landscapes or muscian paintings.
